Filipe Luis is a doubt for Atletico Madrid’s Champions League last-16 second leg against Juventus with a calf injury.
The full-back was forced off midway through Atleti’s 2-0 win at Real Sociedad on Sunday, and Atletico confirmed in a medical report on their official website that the defender injured the calf muscle in his left leg.
It concluded that the Brazilian’s condition was ‘pending clinical evaluation’, just eight days before his side travel to Turin to defend a 2-0 lead against Juve.
Los Colchoneros must already make do without Coach Diego Simeone, who is suspended for his provocative goal celebration in Madrid, while fellow left-back Lucas Hernandez remains sidelined with a knee problem.
