Atletico Madrid are confident midfielders Koke and Saul Niguez will return to action for Saturday’s derby match against Real Madrid, say Marca.
Both Spain internationals missed out during Sunday’s 1-0 defeat against Real Betis but the report claims both are scheduled to return for the Madrid derby.
Neither player was involved in training with the first-team squad for Atleti on Monday, but both worked on their fitness and are set to be brought up to speed over the course of the week.
Teenage forward Borja Garces is also set to be in contention for the match after a recent injury, although he will not start with Alvaro Morata expected to continue to partner Antoine Griezmann in attack.
