No loan move for Real Madrid’s Brahim Diaz

Real Madrid will not be sending Brahim Diaz out on loan next season, according to reports in Diario AS.

Diaz, who signed for Real from Manchester City during the January transfer window, is yet to start a game for his new club, with just 24 minutes of competitive action across three substitute appearances.

However the club will not sanction a loan move for him in the 2019-20 season, with the Santiago Solari already viewing him as a part of his first team plans, and both parties agreeing that remaining at the club is the best course of action to aid his development.

Spanish U21 Diaz has been omitted from the squad to face Alaves this weekend, but with a testing set of games coming up, including an El Clasico tie against Barcelona in the Copa del Rey and a La Liga derby with rivals Atletico Madrid next weekend, the 19 year-old could be in line for a greater first team role in the coming weeks.
