Barcelona’s Jesper Cillessen ruled out for six weeks

Barcelona goal keeper Jesper Cillessen will be sidelined for the next six weeks with a calf injury.

Manager Ernesto Valverde confirmed the news ahead of their home game against Valencia tonight, with teenager Inaki Pena set to step in as back up for Marc Ter Stegen.

The Dutch international has started all of Barcelona's Copa del Rey games this season, including saving a penalty in last week's quarter final clash with Sevilla.

However he will now miss both semi final games against fierce rivals Real Madrid, with Ter Stegen the only fit senior goal keeper in Valverde's squad, with the Champions League also returning in February.
