Cristiano Ronaldo has responded to Isco’s comments that Real Madrid should ‘not cry’ over his departure: “I’m fine with them, it is true.”
The Portuguese star was refused to be drawn into discussing his former club’s shoddy run of form as he returned to former club Manchester United for the second time.
“Isco’s comments? I'm absolutely fine with them. It is true, you cannot cry,” Ronaldo told reporters on Monday.
“I have completed my journey at Real Madrid and now the time is for my new chapter at Juventus, who are another of the best clubs in the world.
“I believe I am a lucky man and that means I am a happy man too, I am so happy to be back in Manchester after also returning here with Madrid.
“Real Madrid’s situation? That is not for me to talk about, I am not at the club anymore and it would not be right for me to comment on their current problems.”
