Antonio Mohamed understands anger of Celta Vigo fans

Celta Vigo were jeered off after their 1-1 draw with Getafe, and Coach Antonio Mohamed accepted it as a ‘wake-up call’ for his out-of-sorts team.

Jaime Mata’s late equaliser on Monday condemned Celta to dropped points for the fourth straight matchday, and Mohamed conceded his side were facing a ‘crisis’.

“The truth is our last four matches haven’t been good and our results haven’t been as expected,” he said after the game.

“It’s okay for the fans to be angry because we’re not letting them dream and their reaction has to be for a wake-up call for all of us going forward.

“Our biggest problem is the way we defend our goal, especially when it comes to asserting home advantage on the scoreboard.

“I’m still looking for solutions and I’m the only one responsible when the team plays badly. When we had 20 minutes left, the feeling was that Getafe could equalise like they did.

“We have to find a solution quickly so that it doesn’t turn into a crisis.”
