Alvaro Odriozola is ‘ready’ to make his debut for Real Madrid following his €40m summer switch from Real Sociedad.
The Spain international has endured a tough start to life at the European champions with injury but he now insists he is ready to be introduced on Saturday, against former rivals Athletic Club Bilbao.
“I am ready for my debut and Julen Lopetegui knows this,” Odriozola told an interview with Marca.
“Debuting against Athletic would be particularly special for me but it does not matter whereabouts I make my debut, any time to wear the Madrid shirt is one to cherish.
“I have settled very quickly for the club, the dressing room is like a family and I feel like I have been here for a long longer!
“I joined here because of the competition and I know it will help me improve.”
