Barcelona will offer striker Munir El Haddadi a four-year contract to tie down the striker’s long-term future to the club.
Munir has made 26 La Liga appearances for Barca but has spent the past two seasons out on loan, firstly at Valencia and then at Alaves.
He netted 14 goals in 37 appearances for the Basque club last season but was widely expected to leave the Camp Nou on a permanent basis this summer.
However, a glut of player exits including Paco Alcacer’s imminent move to Borussia Dortmund have propelled the striker to prominence at the club.
The 22-year-old’s current deal at Barca expires in June 2019 but Marca say they have been pleased with his development and pre-season performances, enough to merit the offer.
