Ligue 1 side Caen are trying to tempt Getafe midfielder Faycal Fajr to return to the club he spent three years with between 2011 and 2014.
The Moroccan had a standout season at the Coliseum Alfonso Perez last term under Jose Bordalas, and his form did not go unnoticed by the French outfit, who believe he will welcome going back to the country of his birth.
Fajr, 30, has plenty of experience in La Liga after spells with Elche and Deportivo la Coruña, while he is also aware he is a big part of Bordalas’ plans for the forthcoming campaign.
Bordalas would be reluctant to let the player leave as he seeks to build a squad capable of finishing in the top half of La Primera.
Even so, L’Equipe reports that Fajr would be open to the idea of taking himself and his family home to France.
