Real Madrid are interested in a deal to sign FC Porto defender Alex Telles this summer according to reports.
Portuguese outlet Diario Record say Madrid are interested ‘in adding competition to Marcelo’ at left-back in their squad.
The European champions signed Theo Hernandez last season from Atletico Madrid but may sanction a loan deal should they land a backup for the Brazilian.
Telles has also been linked with a move to Juventus and Porto are adopting a stance that they will not sell the defender for less than €40m.
The 25-year-old has previously enjoyed spells at Inter and Galatasaray and last season helped Porto to their first league title since 2013.
