Sevilla to face Hungarian side Ujpest

Sevilla will face Ujpest in the second round of Europa League qualification after the Hungarian club defeated FK Neftchi 5-3 on aggregate.

Ujpest won 4-0 at the Szusza Ferenc Stadion on Thursday following a 3-1 first leg defeat to set up the tie with the Andalusian club.

It will be the first match in charge of Los Rojiblancos for new Coach Pablo Machin, who was appointed following a four-year stint at Girona.

The defeated Copa del Rey finalists enter at this stage of the competition – of which they are record five-time winners – due to finishing seventh in La Liga last season, behind Villarreal and Real Betis.

The first leg will be played at Sevilla’s Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan on 26 July while the return leg in Hungary the following week on 2 August.
