Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has promised the club will sign ‘new, incredible players’ before the end of the summer.
Speaking at the presentation of Real Sociedad defender Alvaro Odriozola, the Madrid supremo promised new arrivals to help fill the void left by the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus.
“We are aware of the expectations that this team faces every season,” Perez told reporters on Wednedsday.
“We are Real Madrid and we always wants more – this is a winning team which is full of amazing players.
“We have an amazing squad that will be reinforced with new, incredible players.”
Odriozola is the only major summer arrival at the Bernabeu so far, while the European champions are reportedly keen to sign Chelsea duo Thibaut Courtois and Eden Hazard.
