The agent of Barcelona defender Yerry Mina has denied reports the Colombian has agreed to sign for Everton.
Reports suggested the English club were closing in on a €20m deal for the central defender, who starred for his nation in this summer’s World Cup.
“It is not true that Yerry has signed for Everton,” Yair Mina, who is also the defender’s uncle, told El Mundo Deportivo.
“Yerry has many teams who hold an interest in him but before we can think about that, we need to know what Barcelona plan to do.
“When we hear from the club, we will make a decision.”
Mina arrived at Barca in January from Brazilian club Palmeiras but featured in only five league games before starring for his nation at this summer’s World Cup.
