Sevilla are prioritising a deal for Nice midfielder Jean Michael Seri to replace the outgoing Steven N’Zonzi in their ranks.
Estadio Deportivo say the Ivory Coast international is top of the club’s wish list in the position and would be willing to pay €30m for his services.
The move for the 26-year-old is said to be driven by Director of Football Joaquin Caparros despite interest from English clubs Chelsea and Fulham.
Los Rojiblancos have already tied up deals for midfielders Roque Mesa and Ibrahim Amadou along with Czech goalkeeper Tomas Vaclik.
N’Zonzi has a €40m release clause at the club and is said to have interested Arsenal and Juventus in recent times.
