Both Real Betis and Sevilla have been in contact over the transfer of Anderlecht midfielder Leander Dendoncker, according to the player’s brother and agent.
Andres Dendoncker has stated the 23-year-old is the subject of attention from both Seville-based clubs, with the midfielder reportedly valued at €15m by the Belgian giants.
“I have had contact with both clubs,” the agent told Estadio Deportivo.
“But the market is very quiet at the moment because it has just opened and it is normal for things to be quiet during the World Cup.”
Atletico Madrid, Sevilla and Villarreal have all previously been linked to the Belgian midfielder, while West Ham United were reported to have held an outstanding interest.
Betis reportedly want competition for deep-lying midfielder Javi Garcia while they see Dendoncker as being adept at playing as part of a back three.
