FC Porto are set to pip Sevilla and Fiorentina to the signing of in-demand Udinese winger Rodrigo de Paul this summer, according to reports.
The 24-year-old, who has previously played in Spain with Valencia, is closing in on a move to the Portuguese champions according to A Bola.
Udinese signed the Argentine in a €3m deal two seasons ago from Los Che, who had originally signed him from boyhood side Racing Club, whom he returned to on loan in 2016.
Last week a report in La Gazzetta dello Sport, as cited by Marca, had been ‘strongly interesting’ both Sevilla and Fiorentina.
De Paul scored four goals and provided eight assists in Udine last season and has been one of the side’s stars across the past two seasons.
