Iago Aspas was Spain’s match-winner against Tunisia, but the striker admits they had ‘better sensations’ before their World Cup training camp.
Aspas came off the bench to salvage Spain a 1-0 victory over Tunisia on Saturday, taking La Roja’s tally for their warm-up friendlies to just two goals after they could only draw with Switzerland last time out.
“I don’t think our passing was sharp enough, but it’s a win we can gain confidence from,” the Celta Vigo striker said after the game.
“One or two strikers? It’s up to the Coach. I just try to take advantage of the opportunities I get.
“I think we had better sensations before our training camp than in these two games, but we really want to start with a good taste in our mouths.”
