Andres Iniesta insists the Spanish national team are ‘fully focused’ on the World Cup following Sunday’s draw with Switzerland.
La Roja were held to a 1-1 draw by the Swiss side on Sunday in Iniesta’s final competitive match on Spanish soil ahead of his summer move to J-League club Vissel Kobe.
“We have a World Cup now, and everyone is fully focused,” Iniesta told Cadena Cope.
“The past is the past and none of that is relevant now because this tournament eclipses everything and we must be fully prepared.
“Against Switzerland we tried to pull off our game plan and to a certain extent we achieved that but results in these circumstances are not particularly important.”
