Real Betis have completed the signing of Eibar winger and Japan international Takashi Inui on a free transfer, it has been confirmed.
The 29-year-old joined the Basque side from Eintracht Frankfurt in 2015 and has helped them consolidate their status in Spain’s top flight.
However, after appearing 93 times for Eibar and netting 11 goals, he decided not renew his contract this summer and has signed with Los Verdiblancos.
Inui is part of Japan’s 23-man squad for this summer’s World Cup, he has scored two goals in 25 caps for his nation.
Betis are also expected to confirm the signings of Espanyol goalkeeper Pau Lopez and Real Sociedad winger Sergio Canales on free transfers in the coming weeks.
