Diego Costa has urged his strike partner Antoine Griezmann to reject advances from Barcelona and remain at Atletico Madrid.
The French forward has been strongly linked with a move away from Los Rojiblancos this summer but Costa believes the two will play together next season.
“I’m sure he has some doubt, there is a big decision to make,” Costa is cited as saying by Marca.
“My advice for him is to be at the club which makes him happy, the club where he can continue to improve as a player.
“Sometimes players think they need to move somewhere to feel happy but sometimes happiness is at your current club.
“He is aware of how much we all love him, how he is a leader and a very important player for us, we all want him to stay.
“I think he will stay.”
