Barcelona defender Yerry Mina is not considering a summer move away from the club and insists he wants to focus on ‘making history’.
The Colombian international defender joined the Blaugrana in January from Brazilian side Palmeiras, but has featured in just six games due to the strong form of Gerard Pique and Samuel Umtiti.
“Leaving Barcelona? It has not entered my thoughts,” Mina told El Mundo Deportivo in an interview.
“The truth is that I am happy here, I am happy winning trophies, I want to continue making history and to show the Coach, the fans and everyone else that I am good enough.
“This is a different club than anywhere else because the demands are so high, you always need to win and nothing else is good enough, that challenge is beautiful.
“The football here is quicker than what I am used to, played with more intensity than it is in South America but I am sure I can adapt.”
