La Liga 123 promotion hopefuls Granada have sacked Coach Pedro Morilla after just six weeks in charge, the club have confirmed.
The 45-year-old replaced fired the fired Jose Luis Oltra in the hot-seat at the Andalusian club on 19 March but after just six games at the helm, has now been dismissed.
Despite winning his first game in charge 1-0 at home to Numancia, El Grana have been without a win in five subsequent games and lost 2-1 at second-placed Huesca on Sunday.
Granada – who have the largest playing budget in Spain’s second tier – sit eighth in the division and four points off the promotion playoff places with five games remaining.
The club were relegated from La Liga last season and are now on the lookout for their third permanent manger of the campaign.
