Outgoing Atletico Madrid striker Fernando Torres appears to be destined for a move to MLS or the Chinese Super League, according to an agent.
Antonio Sanz, director of communication with Torres' representatives Bahia Internacional, has clarified that no final decision has yet been made but appears to have ruled out the striker remaining in Europe.
“There is no team yet,” Sanz told Radio Marca, as cited by ESPN FC.
“But we do have ideas. One option is the U.S. and another China. Not Europe, nor the Middle East.”
The 34-year-old – who also played for Liverpool and Chelsea – will leave Los Rojiblancos for the second time at the end of the current campaign.
