Betis move for Malaga’s Rosales?

Malaga defender Roberto Rosales wants a summer transfer with Real Betis favourites for his signature, according to reports.

The 29-year-old’s contract at La Rosaleda runs until June 2019 but he is understood to be keen on an exit with the Costa Del Sol’s side impending relegation to the Spanish second tier.

Rosales joined the Andalucian club on a free transfer from FC Twente in 2014 and has gone on to make over 150 appearances for the club.

Prominent Venezuelan journalist and Telesur reporter Miltino Ochoa now claims the full-back is on the radar of regional neighbours Betis, who are eyeing a cut-price summer deal.

The Seville-based club are also said to be closing in on the signings of two free agents this summer – Espanyol goalkeeper Pau Lopez and Takashi Inui of Eibar.
