Atletico Madrid midfielder Koke believes Antoine Griezmann should only stay at the club if he is ‘totally committed’ to the decision.
The French forward has been strongly linked with a move away from Los Rojiblancos and stated earlier this week he would need his future sorted before the World Cup.
“To play for Atleti you have to be committed,” Koke told Cadena Cope.
“If Griezmann wants to be here then he will play here, but if you are playing for this club you have to be totally engaged with it.
“I want to finish my career at Atletico, I want to spend my entire life here and I don’t want to play for another club.
“It would be nice to represent Spain at the Wanda of course but the real thing is to play for Spain anywhere, the stadium is not important.
“It’s a different style of play of course, with Spain we have more possession but with Atleti we play more direct and without that domination.”
