Alaves have agreed to allow Serbian forward Aleksandar Katai to join MLS side Chicago Fire on a loan deal, it has been confirmed.
The 27-year-old has moved to the American club on loan for the remainder of the Spanish season with an option to buy also included in the deal.
The forward has failed to start a game for the Basque club this season and indeed has only made four substitute appearances having fallen out of favour under various managers.
Having had spells in Greece and Serbia, Katai joined Alaves from Red Star Belgrade in the summer of 2016 but has scored only three goals.
