Getafe and Leganes both remain locked in mid-table after a scoreless South Madrid derby in Sunday’s early La Liga kick-off.
The two sides are well-matched and both sit on 29 points, although Lega have played one game fewer than their rivals.
It was a forgettable match, which was low on chances – with only four shots on target – and high on stoppages and disruptions as there were eight yellow cards in total.
This is traditionally a rivalry confined to the lower Leagues, yet it came sandwiched between Lega’s Copa del Rey semi-final legs against Sevilla.
