Villarreal defender Ruben Semedo is in further trouble with the Spanish authorities after allegedly hitting a man over the head with a bottle.
The Portugal international’s run-in with the law made headlines in Spain earlier this month after allegedly carrying a firearm at a nightclub in Valencia in November.
El Desmarque now report on fresh allegations of an incident which occured on 29 October, where the 23-year-old is said to have smashed a glass bottle over a man’s head at 7am outside a ‘well-known nightclub’ in the city.
Semedo joined Villarreal from Sporting CP in the summer for €14m but has played only four league games due to his season being disrupted by injuries.
