Real Betis defender Riza Durmisi has rejected the offer to sign for Turkish giants Galatasaray, according to reports in Spain.
The 24-year-old has excelled at Los Verdiblancos since joining from Brondby in the summer of 2016 and had previously been linked with a move to Liverpool in the summer.
El Desmarque cite a report in Bein Sports that Galatasaray have offered a five-year contract for the Denmark international, although no transfer fee is mentioned in the report.
The left-back has made 49 appearances for the Seville-based club, scoring twice – both against Sevilla.
“My representatives are negotiating with the club to renew because really I am very happy here (at Betis),” Durmisi told reporters last week, as cited by Estadio Deportivo.
“The future of this club is very exciting and I want to play a part of it.”
