Soria ‘would love’ Depor move

Sevilla goalkeeper David Soria admits he would ‘love’ to join Deportivo La Coruna and wants a move to go through this month.

The 24-year-old has spent his entire career at Los Rojiblancos and has started seven league games this campaign, but largely plays second fiddle to Sergio Rico.

“Of course I want to play for Deportivo, I would love to,” Soria told Ideal Gallego, as cited by ABC de Sevilla.

“Depor are one of the most important clubs in the league, they have a very strong team and have fewer points than they deserve this season.

“It is clear Sevilla want me to leave, whether they sign another goalkeeper or not and I am looking for a club who will give me opportunities, such as Depor.

“Right now there is no agreement between the clubs and I will train with Sevilla, but I hope it is resolved soon.”
