Las Palmas have completed the signing of former Spain Under-21 international Jairo Samperio from Mainz, it has been confirmed.
The 24-year-old spent two seasons at Racing Santander before joining Sevilla in 2013, with 36 appearances before moving to the Bundesliga side the following year.
The winger has moved to the Gran Canarian club on a free transfer but has only signed a temporary six-month deal until the end of the current campaign.
Samperio is the second permanent arrival at Los Amarillos since the appointment of Paco Jemez, following a deal for Argentine midfielder Gabriel Penalba.
