Levante and Leganes each had a player sent off but failed to find the back of the net during a scrappy encounter on Tuesday night.
Leganes winger Nordin Amrabat and Jose Campana of Levante were dismissed in the 68th and 90th minutes respectively after they picked up second yellow cards.
Campana headed the game’s best chance wide early on, and despite having a player more for over 20 minutes in the second half, the visitors could not make their advantage pay.
The draw will not live long in the memory for either side, with the 12 bookings dominating a match of few opportunities.
However, the point was useful to both as it took Lega up to eighth and left Levante five points clear of the relegation zone.
