Brazilian full-back Guilherme Arana is officially a Sevilla player after passing a medical at the club on Thursday, it has been confirmed.
Los Rojiblancos will reportedly pay a fee in the region of €12-15m for the 20-year-old, who has made 46 appearances for the Sao Paulo-based club this calendar year.
Arana is an Under-20 international for his country, while his performances for Corinthians earned him a place in the Brazilian’top flight’s Team of the Year for 2017.
Atletico Madrid and Barcelona were among the clubs linked to his signing, but Los Rojiblancos have completed the deal, with the left-back signing a four-year deal.
Arana will compete with Sergio Escudero for the first-choice left-back slot at Estadio Sanchez Pizjuan.
