Real Betis midfielder Felipe Gutierrez will extend his loan spell at Brazilian club Internacional beyond the January transfer window, say reports in Spain.
The 27-year-old joined Los Verdiblancos in a reported €1.5m deal from Dutch side FC Twente last summer but started only nine La Liga matches before leaving for the Brazilian side in March this year.
ABC de Sevilla now report the holding midfielder is set to extend his stay with Internacional as the Seville-based club have no intention of bringing him back into their plans.
The Brazilian club are covering the Chilean international’s wages and Betis are said to be aware they cannot make a profit on the midfielder next year.
