Sevilla have reached an agreement for the transfer of Corinthians full-back Guilherme Arana (pictured right), the player has confirmed.
The 20-year-old’s quotes, as carried by ABC de Sevilla and Estadio Deportivo, state that only the contracts now need signed as the agreement is finalised.
“I’m a 20-year-old, I have won three titles and I already feel very accomplished, now I have a dream to play in Europe,” Arana is quoted as saying by the reports.
“A firm proposal came in from Sevilla and now it’s all done, the only thing which remains is for me to sign the contracts.
“I have committed myself to this move and I am very happy about it as it will fulfil my dream and complete a fantastic year for me.”
The Under-20 international has made 45 appearances for the Sao Paulo-based club this calendar year and is thought to be available for between €12m and €15m.
Atletico Madrid and Barcelona were among the clubs linked to his signing.
