Moore: La Liga debut a dream

United States Under-20 full-back Shaquell Moore revealed making his La Liga debut for Levante was ‘a dream come true’.

The 20-year-old originally moved to Spain in 2014, playing in the youth teams of Huracan and Real Oviedo before joining the Valencia-based side last year.

Born in Powder Springs, Georgia, Moore made his debut for the first-team last week against Girona in the Copa del Rey before appearing against Eibar in La Liga.

“Honestly, it’s a dream come true,” Moore is quoted as saying by EFE.

“It’s been a very good week with the opportunity to debut in the Copa (del Rey) and then La Liga. It’s been a lovely week.

“Now I have to continue working and hopefully there’s more; in one of the best leagues in the world it is a lovely challenge.
