Parralo seeks Depor positivity

New Deportivo La Coruna Coach Cristobal Parralo (pictured second from right) is optimistic he can improve the side’s league results and build on the players ‘hard work’.

The 50-year-old had been coaching the club’s B team but was promoted following the dismissal of Pepe Mel last week, but his debut in the dugout ended in a 4-1 Copa del Rey home defeat to Las Palmas.

Depor now travel to Los Amarillos in Monday night’s La Liga clash with Parralo aiming to bring the Galician club their third victory of the campaign.

“I have seen how hard the players are working,” Parralo is quoted as telling his news conference by Marca.

“The players and coaches at this club are eager to improve our situation and I will now work hard on implementing my ideas and utilising this keenness.

“We have to trust the players we have available to us, everybody will be given a chance to show what they are capable of giving us.”
