Real Madrid full-back Theo Hernandez has admitted he is tempted to switch international allegiance from France to Spain.
The 20-year-old is yet to make a senior appearance for the French senior team, meaning he has a decision to make between representing Les Bleus or La Roja.
“Switching to Spain? If France don’t get in touch with me, then I’ll think about it,” Theo told reporters after Sunday’s victory over Eibar, as quoted by Marca.
“I’m French but the situation is making me a little annoyed.”
Theo joined Los Blancos from cross-city rivals Atletico Madrid – where his brother and French youth international Lucas still plays – over summer.
