Real Betis will be without Riza Durmisi for around three weeks after the left-back suffered a hamstring injury.
A statement on Betis’ official website confirmed Durmisi had “a grade-I muscle tear in the hamstring of his right leg”, sustained during the Andalusians’ 6-3 defeat to Valencia over the weekend.
The 23-year-old had started seven of Los Verdiblancos’ eight games in La Liga, including their memorable 2-1 win at Real Madrid last month.
His performances since arriving from Brondby a year ago have also seen linked with several English clubs, among them Liverpool.
