Luis Suarez felt Barcelona “deserved more” from their 1-1 draw with Atletico Madrid on Saturday.
Suarez’s late header salvaged a point at Wanda Metropolitano for Barca, but the striker was adamant his side should have maintained their winning start in La Liga.
“Everyone knows that Atletico defend very well and have a great goalkeeper,” he said after the game.
“We had the feeling that we deserved more in the second half. It’s difficult to participate, I had to work hard on and off the ball.
“After being a goal down for a lot of the game, it was complicated and we have to accept [the result], but I think we had more chances than them.
“My goal? It ensured we didn’t lose. What we want is to keep going like this.”
