Barca eye up Porto’s Danilo

Barcelona are keeping an eye on Porto midfielder and Portugal international Danilo who could be a transfer target next summer, say reports.

The Blaugrana’s sporting director Robert Fernandez was in attendance to watch Portugal win 2-0 at Andorra on Saturda and El Mundo Deportivo claim he was keeping tabs on the 26-year-old.

He is reportedly viewed as a long-term replacement for Sergio Busquets and at the least to give the Spanish midfielder ‘more rest’ and allow him to be rotated more.

Danilo has previously played in Italy and the Netherlands with Parma and Roda JC respectively before joining Porto from fellow Portuguese side Maritimo in 2015.

The Guinea Bissau has won 26 caps for Portugal since his debut two years ago and helped his nation with the 2016 European Championships.
