Rodrigo followed up his prolific start to the season for Valencia with his first-ever international goal during Spain’s 3-0 win against Albania, which sent La Roja to the 2018 World Cup.
“I’m very satisfied and happy, especially for the win,” the striker said after the game.
“The whole team had a great match, especially in the first 30 minutes. The win was deserved.
“Good run in front of goal? It’s a matter of hard work and dedication. The team help a lot to get everything right.
