Real Betis are set to include Joel Campbell, on loan from Arsenal, in their squad for the first time for their trip to Real Sociedad.
The Costa Rican forward has joined Los Verdiblancos for a second loan spell at the end of the summer transfer window but is yet to feature due to injury.
“I'm very happy to now be part of the squad for matches,” Campbell told the Real Betis website.
“I have been training hard to be as fit as I can be to make myself an option for the Coach.
“I’m going to continue working hard to add as much as I possibly can, to make sacrifices and make my own opportunities.
“The rest, which is down to technique and ability, comes by itself.
“The team is doing very well and the Coach’s system and all his work is shining through. We all understand it, believe in it and are playing by it.
“You can see we have a very good team and are playing nice football, I believe I can fit into that.”
Meanwhile a club statement read: “Real Betis player Joel Campbell has finished the recovery process of his knee injury.
“The Green-and-White winger was officially discharged yesterday, which makes him available for Quique Setien. The player is now training with the team without problems.”
