Adrian Ramos wants to leave Granada

Granada striker Adrian Ramos has confirmed he wishes to leave the club following their relegation to the second tier.

El Grana were relegated to La Liga 123 last season and the Colombian international – signed from Borussia Dortmund in January – is keen to find a new club.

“After the club was relegated, the situation is not clear and for me it is not ideal,” Ramos told RCN Radio in his native Colombia.

“The truth is that I want to leave and I have informed the club of my decision, it is an ambitious project here but I must play top flight football.

“This is a World Cup year and as a player that is what you dream about, playing in the highest level of competition possible.

“I have already spoken with several teams and I hope I can find a solution as soon as possible.”

Ramos netted four goals in 14 La Liga appearances for the Andalucians last season but it was not enough to save them from demotion.
