Malaga are closing in on their second Argentine central midfield signing with a bid lodged for Esteban Rolon of Argentinos Juniors.
The president of the Argentine club has confirmed the Costa Del Sol side have made an offer for the holding midfield ‘pivot’ who is viewed as a direct replacement for Ignacio Camacho.
Earlier this week, Malaga completed a €5m deal for Banfield midfield Emanuel Cecchini to replace Pablo Fornals, who has joined Villarreal.
“There is an offer from Malaga that is being analysed by our board,” the president of Argentinos Juniors, Cristian Malaespina, told TyCSports.
22-year-old Rolon has made 53 appearances for the top-flight Argentine side.
