Deportivo La Coruna have completed the signing of Switzerland international defender Fabian Schar on a four-year contract.
The 25-year-old arrives from Bundesliga club Hoffenheim for a reported €4m fee and will bolster the Galician club’s defence.
Capped 27 times by Switzerland, Schar arrives at the Riazor highly-rated after gaining success earlier in his career at Basel, but appeared only seven times last season under Coach Julian Nagelsmann.
"Fabian Lukas Schar has this morning, pending medical tests, become a new player for Deportivo for the next four seasons," Depor confirmed via their official website.
Schar is Depor's fifth signing of the transfer window, following the arrivals of Guilherme, Gerard Valentin, Federico Valverde and Zakaria Bakkali.
