Malaga are set to complete the signing of Espanyol goalkeeper Roberto Jimenez to replace the outgoing Carlos Kameni, say reports in Spain.
Experienced shot-stopper Kameni is expected to complete a move to Turkish side Fenerbahce this week while Diario AS and El Mundo Deportivo both report Roberto will be his replacement at La Rosaleda.
A deal of between €1.5-2m for the 31-year-old is expected to be completed this week for the goalkeeper, who played under Coach Michel at Greek side Olympiakos.
Roberto started his career at Atletico Madrid before having spells with Benfica, Zaragoza and the Greek champions before joining Espanyol last season, but he started only 3 La Liga fixtures for the Catalans.
