Real Betis are lining up a move for Palermo midfielder Oscar Hiljemark as they continue to rebuild their squad, say reports in Spain.
According to El Desmarque, Los Verdiblancos are aiming for a deal under €3m for the Swedish international from Palermo, who were relegated from Serie A this season.
The 24-year-old joined Genoa on a short-term loan deal in January and has made 67 appearances in Serie A since moving from Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven in 2015.
Betis are hopeful of strengthening their midfield ranks after Brazilian Petros departed for Sao Paulo and new Coach Quique Setien is reportedly keen on Hiljemark, who has won 18 caps for Sweden.
The report follows one in Tuttomercatoweb which also linked the technical midfielder to Estadio Benito Villamarin.
