Barcelona will activate the buyback option of Everton winger Gerard Deulofeu in a deal worth €12m, according to reports.
The 23-year-old joined the Merseyside club from Barca for a fee of approximately €5m two years ago having previously had a successful loan spell at Goodison Park.
However, he failed to convince new Everton Coach Ronald Koeman and despite impressing on a loan at Milan in Italy last season, there will be no complications in the deal being complete.
Both The Times and The Telegraph report the Catalan club have decided to complete the deal following months of speculation, while sporting director Robert Fernandez had said Deulofeu was a ‘key target’.
The winger made only six appearances at the Camp Nou but has also enjoyed a loan stint at Sevilla and has been capped at national level.
