Celta Vigo’s on loan striker Giuseppe Rossi could return to Italy this summer after he was linked to a move to Serie A side Torino.
The 30-year-old is currently on a season-long loan deal with the Galicians from Fiorentina, where he has netted six goals in 27 appearances including a hat-trick in Monday’s 3-1 win over Las Palmas.
Tuttosport report the Turin-based side want the former Manchester United striker to link up with in-form Andrea Belotti under Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic.
Rossi’s agent Andrea Pastorelli said in January: “I really think that at the end of the season he will leave Celta Vigo.”
The Italian press has also linked the American-native, who previously enjoyed spells in Spain with Villarreal and Levante, to Sassuolo, Sampdoria, and Chievo.
